Indicators
- The Wi-Fi connected Roomba 600 and 800 series says “Error ten (10). Spin Roomba's side wheels to clean. Please open the iRobot HOME App for help.”
- Roomba 500, 600, 700, and 800 series says “Error ten (10). Spin Roomba's side wheels to clean.”
- Select models will play a two-tone “Uh-Oh” sound followed by 10 beeps.
Overview
Error 10 means a side wheel cannot turn. Please check the following:

If Roomba gives this error when it is stuck under an obstacle, move Roomba to a new location and press CLEAN to restart. Use a Virtual Wall® to block off problem areas.

Check the side wheels for obstructions.

Push the wheel up and down several times and shake out any loose debris that may be trapped in the wheel well.

Briskly turn both wheels by hand and make sure they turn freely and that each wheel exhibits the same amount of resistance.
If the message persists, you may need a replacement wheel module. Please visit the iRobot Store or contact iRobot Customer Care to place your order.
