How do I clean the Roomba® side brush?

Use the following procedure to regularly clean the Side Brush.
 

Note: Please note that your robot model and series may vary. The Side Brush care procedure will be the same for Roomba® 500 - 900 series.

1. Loosen the Side Brush with a coin screwdriver or a small screwdriver.

   Note: Some models may not have a captive Side Brush screw. If the screw is missing, please visit the iRobot Store - Parts and Accessories, contact iRobot Customer Care, or use an authorized retailer or partner to order a new Side Brush. 

2. Remove the Brush.
3. Remove any debris from the Side Brush and the post of the Side Brush Module.
4. Reinstall the Side Brush.
