Factory Software Version:
These Software Versions are what the robot is built with in the factory. The robot will arrive using this SW. A robot that ships with this v7.2.3 or later will not operate manual cleaning until provisioned with the cloud. Please download the Roomba Home app to begin using your robot.

Roomba Max 700 Series robots must be connected to the cloud and be online to start operation out of the box, A robot that ships with this version will not start cleaning until it is successfully connected to the cloud. Pressing the CLEAN button before provisioning triggers a voice prompt instructing the user to download the Roomba Home app in order to finish setup. After setting it up in the app, you may disconnect Wi-Fi and continue to use the robot offline without the app.
